PH011 F4U Corsair 1485mm 1:8 ARF

Vought F-4U Corsair was the most powerful US 2nd World War fighter. After solving the initial problems (too rigid chassis and poor view from the cabin complicating landing on aircraft carriers), along with Grummany Hellcat, he took care of the Japanese air force from the sky over the Pacific. Corsairy successfully operated the colors of the British Fleet Air Arm and land-based aerodromes in the Marines. In the US Navy and Marines, he resisted until the 1950s when he played a significant role in the fighter bomber in capturing the initial onslaught of communist North Korea at the beginning of the Korean War.

Semi-scale legendary American naval fighter jets for two-stroke engines 7,5-8,5 ccm, four-stroke 8-10 ccm or FOXY C3530 or AXI 4120 series electric motors. The fuselage of the model is a classic all-metal construction with laminated motor cover. Convenient access to the on-board electronics and the battery or fuel tank provides a removable top of the hull. Two-piece wing with semi-directional profile is also classic with torsion box; half are attached from the side to the dural tube coupling. Ailerons are controlled by 2 independent servos. Tail surfaces are classical all-metal. The whole model is coated with Oracover iron-on transfers combined with dark blue and white. The model is supplied with a retractable mechanical chassis (you will need 2 undercarriages - for example, Futaba S3170G).
