Description
The Tiger I was the first heavy German main battle tank used in World War II.
It was introduced in 1942 after the previous Panzer III and Panzer IV models proved inferior to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1. The design of the Tiger emphasized armor and armament. The 88 mm gun and its high penetration surpassed only a few tank guns by the end of the war and was more than suitable for armoring Allied armored vehicles. The standard 39 shell penetrated 100 mm of steel at 1000 m. This allowed the Tiger to destroy an attacking T-34 tank from twice the distance at which it was in danger on its own.

This extremely detailed 1:16 scale WSN Trumpeter Torro R/C model is available as
light gray winter camouflage or brown summer camouflage.
