A little bit about DTM races
The DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft) races have been held since 1984. They are held in closed circuits mainly in Germany and are part of ADAC motorsport.
Cars are based on serial cars, the body is only reinforced with steel tubular construction (similar to Rally cars). Rear wheel drive required, any electronics assistance (ABS, traction control) is prohibited.
The engine is an 8-cylinder V-cylinder of 4 liters. It is interesting that the aerodynamics of the car cannot be modified during a series of races.

Audi 5 The DTM Series is a DTM traveler manufactured by the German car manufacturer Audi AG. It was developed in 2011 and raced in the DTM 2012-present seasons. The completed A5 DTM was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12, 2011. The A5 DTM is equipped with a 340 kW V8 engine and is coupled with a six-speed gearbox from the previous A4 DTM. They are equipped with steering wheel shift blades, engine electronics and a central Audi R8 LMS display, larger and wider Hankook tires and more.
