The T8FB is an eight-channel transmitter for recreational modelers, which you can use as a classic "handheld" eight-channel cross-controller, two switches and two rotary knobs and channel shift switches for channels 1-4. When connected to a PC with a utility program or an application on an Android smartphone, it turns into an intelligent computer transmitter that allows you to adjust basic functions such as the size and meaning of deflections, mixes for the wing and butterfly tails, and even has two freely programmable mixers. This allows for a wide range of models - motor acrobatic models, gliders, multicopters, cars and other ground equipment and ships. It features a practical cabinet that fits perfectly into your hand with the classic, ergonomic layout of the controls over the years.

Controls: To control the main functions, use the precise cross controls with adjustable neutralizing spring force and the possibility to move the locked gas axis to the left or right. This allows you to freely select the operating modes of the cross controls 1-4. Digital trimmers have an audible indication of jogging and center position. They are located slightly eccentrically and are easy to reach. Other channels can control two rotary knobs on the top of the transmitter, and two switches (one three-position and one two-position) can serve as channel switches or to program functions on / off (after setting on a PC or smartphone). Controls are assignable (on PC or smartphone).

Transmitter Power: The T8FB allows you to use the entire power supply for the power supply: 4 alkaline batteries inserted into the transmitter holder, NiMH 4 cell batteries (AA size, pencil type) or LiPo Li-ion two- to three-cell battery packs. When the transmitter is connected to a PC or smartphone, the battery voltage is displayed, the low voltage alarm level is adjustable. We recommend our 4.8 V NIMH Low Self-Discharge Cell Kit (Eneloop, RayLong) made to measure by the transmitter and equipped with a tap for charging.

Transmission System: The T8FB uses a frequency hopping FHSS transmission for high range, reliability and interference immunity. It does not allow telemetry transmission.

Software: After connecting to a PC or smartphone, you have a wide range of transmitter setup options. You can load the existing settings from the transmitter, edit it if necessary and re-upload it to the transmitter, store it in the PC memory or smartphone, or load the settings stored there on the transmitter. The utility or applications have four menus:

  • SERVO monitor to show servo movements in all channels
  • BASIC menu for setting the sense and magnitude of deflections (for both directions from the center independently), subtrimes, emergency failsafe deflections and servo speed
  • ADVANCED menu for setting double deflections, ATTITUDE (up to 6-position switch for flight control modes of drones), mixes for butterfly tails and flying wings
  • SYSTEM menu for assigning channel drivers 5-8, selecting the mode of cross controls 1-4, setting the low level signaling of the transmitter battery and two freely programmable mixers.

The micro USB socket (located at the bottom of the transmitter) is used to update the firmware and program the transmitter with the help of a PC or application on an Android smartphone.

The teacher-pupil socket is used to control the models with the dual-control system by two Radiolink transmitters connected by a teacher-pupil cable; T8FB can serve as a student transmitter. In addition to the classic cable (1RL0058), it is also possible to use a wireless connection using a receiver with PPM output connected via a special adapter (1RL0056) to the teacher-pupil socket of the teaching transmitter; the receiver is paired with the pupil transmitter / p>

Strap: You can hang the T8FB around the neck with a strap strap (sold separately).
