The new generation of AXI V2 engines has improved performance thanks to its sophisticated design that keeps the motor windings cooler by up to 20% in conjunction with an integrated turbine airflow cooling system. The special version of "Long" features an elongated conical front face for easy fitting into the fuselage of a small diameter bow.

Robust and reliable high performance AXI 2217 / xx V2 series rotary casing motors and neodymium magnets have a hardened shaft of 5 mm in diameter mounted in two ball bearings to provide very good mechanical stability in both normal and reversed mounting. The AXI 2217 / xx V2 series rotors are exported on the most advanced dynamic balancing equipment from renowned Schenck. Quality Japanese bearings supplied to V2 engines are characterized by longer service life and quiet operation.

Thanks to its high torque, the AXI 2217 / xx V2 series motors are suitable for direct propulsion of large propellers without the need for a gearbox, which ensures very good efficiency of the entire drive.

AXI 2217/12 V2 Long is an AC motor that is designed to drive smaller models up to 1000g with a dual-cell or three-cell Li-poly battery. Ideally suited for smaller hotliners, where better propeller propellers with higher speeds work better.

Engine Mounting: AXI 2217/12 V2 Long is primarily designed for front mounting, but can also be used in rear mounting when purchased. For front mounting behind the engine face, use four M3 screws that reach the front of the motor in the 4-5 mm range. The engine bulkhead should be made of 3 mm air plywood" / p>
