Extremely strong extended chassis

The new Maxx is designed for endless all-day entertainment. The model excels in the ultra-hard construction of the composite chassis with integrated shock absorbers and a durable battery mounting system. Chassis and bumper mounts effectively absorb energy through interconnected chassis bulkheads.

Modular construction

The modular design connects the front and rear of the chassis with the center chassis, into one fixed platform. This advanced solution ideally distributes impact energy while allowing easy model service.

Chassis protection

The unique design, revolutionary to protect the drive shaft and differentials, integrates them securely inside, into the model's chassis. The robust, lower protective plates absorb strong impacts, which are sure to occur. After the protective plates have done their job, you can replace them and Maxx will be like new again.

Propulsion system

Durability is one of the most important features for a propulsion system. Maxx has borrowed proven components from larger models, which makes it an extremely durable model. The drivetrain consists of steel sprockets, three differentials with metal gears that evenly distribute power to the wheels, an aluminum thick-walled center shaft and robust telescopic half-axles. The rotating parts are mounted in high-quality encapsulated bearings.

Cush drive absorption system

The innovative Cush drive system uses a special part equipped with elastomeric silentblocks to absorb the engine's impact. The system replaces the friction clutch and enables a more efficient and reliable drive without complicated adjustments.

GT-Maxx oil dampers

The four extra-large GT-Maxx shock absorbers effectively absorb even the toughest impacts. The oil-filled aluminum damper body has a thread and nut for easy adjustment of spring preload. The damper is equipped with double X-rings to prevent oil leakage around the piston rod.

SledgeHammer 2.8 "wheels and tires

The unique appearance of the model is provided by the black 2.8 "wheels mounted on a 17 mm carrier. The glued tires feature an extreme tread pattern with an open block that removes dirt for unrivaled traction. The highly durable rubber compound is specially designed to resist tearing.

Improved engine bed

The RC Maxx uses an improved motor bed with two guide grooves that fix the motor securely in place. By means of the holes, the inter-tooth clearance of the pinion and the front wheel can be easily and, most importantly, precisely adjusted.

Power steering

The all-new, waterproof * servo Traxxas 2090 steering is the same size as the 1: 5 models and has a tremendous force of 20 kg.cm. Immediate power transmission to the wheels is ensured by the state-of-the-art Dual Bell-crank system with integrated servo-saver, which protects the servo gears in the event of sharp impacts and impacts of the model.

540XL AC motor

The model is powered by a powerful 540XL 2400 rpm / V AC motor with a robust 5 mm shaft. Strong and heat-resistant neodymium magnet, high-speed bearings and four-pole windings ensure smooth running and long life. The metal motor housing efficiently dissipates heat from the stator.

AC regulator

Driving modes:

• Sport - ulcer, brake and reverse. The controller provides full forward and reverse power, this mode is the default.
• Race - forward and brake (ie there is no reverse). This mode is watery for races where you don't need a reverse.
• Trainer - the controller has a reduced gas and return power to 50%. Mode suitable for beginners and children.

The controller is equipped with a connector for connecting smart LED lighting.

Real time telemetry

The exclusive controller with advanced electronics is equipped for real-time telemetry measurements. Using the wireless Bluetooth module (sold separately) and the Traxxas link app, it is possible to monitor speed, engine speed and battery voltage, directly in real time on your phone. The controller provides telemetry data and no additional sensors are required.

RC set Traxxas TQi with Bluetooth ready

Traxxas has prepared a completely new range of two-channel RC kits with Bluetooth connectivity for you. The Bluetooth module (sold separately) allows you to connect the RC model with the clear graphic application Traxxas Link, which you can install into your Smartphone free of charge.

The Traxxas Link app for Apple devices is available for free on the AppStore , and the Google Android app is free on GooglePlay .

Traxxas Link App is a powerful application that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of the RC model Traxxas with stunning visualization and absolute accuracy of settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data that provides the model in real time, such as speed, rpm, temperature, battery voltage and model tilt. You can share RC model settings, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or user, eg children. Everything in an application with brilliant graphics, which is a matter of course from Traxxas.

Traxxas TQi receiver

RC receiver Traxxas TQi 5 channels. TSM with telemetry for Traxxas TQi transmitters. Easy operation, pairing with a button. LED status indication. 3-axis MEMS sensors are integrated in the receiver to learn the position of the receiver.

The 5-channel receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connecting RPM (speed) and I / O (voltage / temperature) telemetry sensors.

Furthermore, an expansion telemetry module can be connected to the 4-pin connector, to which you can connect up to 6 other sensors, including a very accurate GPS speed sensor.

Traxxas Stability Management

The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) system not only allows you to experience power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also guarantees much easier driving and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.

The receiver has a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model about 100 times per second and corrects the direction of travel of the model by appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. The algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multifunction knob on the transmitter or in the Traxxas Link application.

Latch body mounting system

The Traxxas Maxx remote control car model is equipped with an innovative body attachment system that replaces traditional staples with a latch system. This solution allows for an easy and fast attached body and no more lost staples.

Body reinforcement

The body is equipped with a frame on the inside, which serves as a reinforcement when the model overturns. For even greater durability, wide washers are newly placed under the bolt heads, the roof of the model is equipped with a frame against scratching the body, as well as the rear part.

Automatic rotation on wheels

This exclusive, patented Traxxas feature was originally implemented in the X-Maxx model and is now used in the Maxx model. The Self-righting function is activated remotely via a transmitter, by rapidly adding throttle and braking, the model gradually swings and turns back on the wheels.

The function is most efficient when using a fully charged 4S LiPo battery.

Recommended LiPo batteries

The model can be operated on a 3 or 4 cell LiPo battery. A 3-cell LiPo battery (11.1 V) is fully sufficient for normal riding.

Smart LED lighting

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, high-quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for cars.

The screw glue drips the thread or the head of the screw, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving do not allow the screw connection to loosen. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with a reasonable torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it could be impossible to loosen a screw glued in this way at all!

The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time the adhesive is flexible after hardening. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks in the tire would gradually form around the rims!

Occasionally it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the damper piston rod surface or seal condition is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. So-called repair kits are supplied for these cases. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are supplied with all shock absorbers. TiN-coated piston rods are easily recognizable by their golden-green color.
