Model aircraft for gluing. Size: 1:72; 19,3 cm.

Original Information:
Harrier is probably the most famous aircraft with the ability to perpendicular / short takeoff and landing in military history. It was designed and developed by the British designer Hawker Siddeley in the 1960s. With its two-jet Pegasus engine and four vertical thrust nozzles, the Harrier instantly achieved great success. Harrier Gr. 1, which is widely used by the British Royal Air Force, is also known for winning a memorable race. He participated in the Daily Mail Trans-Atlantic Air Race between London and New York, which took place in May 1969 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. Harrier Gr 1 managed to fly the route between the Post Office Tower in London and the Empire State Building in New York in the best overall time.
