An excellent entry into the world of crawlers and their off-road capabilities is the AMXrock CRUISER Defender 4WD 1:10 model from the German brand Amewi from the Xrock AMseries. This model puristically focuses on great driving and off-road characteristics rather than a lot of technological gadgets. However, as they say, simplicity is strength, and this is doubly true for this crawler. The basis of everything is a robust metal chassis, on which everything is needed, such as a powerful DC motor, a servo with a thrust of 3 kg, high-quality wheel suspension, a metal gimbal, a control unit and a battery. The chassis rests on large rubberized tires and is waterproof, so you don't have to worry about any puddles on the way to the top. Since the crawler must be able to "climb" the slopes correctly, it has a special electronic controller that has the function of braking and stopping the model when going down the slope. This utility is referred to as a slope brake . The body is made of high-quality Lexan in the style of the legendary Land Rover Defender. Of course, there are locked differentials and a 2.4 GHz controller, with which you can control your 4x4 crawler fully proportionally.
