KAVAN zipper polish Classic 1000ml

Clear nitro lacquer for protection of metal parts and tensioning of coating papers for small models and mini-models. A classic recipe tested by generations of model builders and real aircraft. For brush or roller application.

Application: Dilute the varnish as required with KAVAN Thinner Classic; apply to the coating with a soft flat brush or roller. Apply 2-4 coats; always let the paint dry for at least 24 hours and sand with fine sandpaper 600-1000. When used on a model with an internal combustion engine, it is necessary to apply a fuel-resistant top coat (eg 5MA4401 RC Color clearcoat).

Excess dry paint removal: Cloth or paper towel moistened with KAVAN Classic Thinner.

Varnish dilution: The varnish is supplied in a concentrated form, according to the need and method of application, it can be diluted with KAVAN Thinner Classic in any ratio to achieve optimal consistency for application.

Suitable for: Surface protection of metal parts and as a tensioning varnish with limited shrinkage for tensioning model coating papers and textiles (eg non-woven) on small models and mini-models with a subtle frame.

Not suitable for: materials not resistant to organic solvents (expanded polystyrene, etc.).

Storage: In a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at a temperature of 10 ° C to 25 ° C). Do not expose to temperatures below 5 ° C and under no circumstances to frost.

Shelf life: Subject to the conditions of proper storage, we guarantee shelf life in the original unopened packaging for a period of 1 year while maintaining the above properties of the product.
