Triceratops was the largest and most clearly known horned dinosaur. It is generally considered to be one of the last species to be extinct. He belonged to a dinosaur family called Ceratopsidae, which inhabited the Earth some 144 to 65 million years ago during the Cretaceous period. There was a horror at sight, after all, with 9 meters of length and 8.5 tonnes of weight, that was a good reason, but it was a herbivore. The large bone collar gave him good protection from neck attacks. The pointed horns, measuring about one meter in length, were a powerful weapon that triceratops could cause heavy and sometimes fatal injuries to their enemies, including Tyrannosaurus Rex. Triceratops ranged in groups or small herds and used their long horns, among other things, against their male rivals in territory or coursing duels.

Acrylic Paint for Revell Aqua Color (5 ml)
