SKY RC infrared thermometer is a non-contact thermometer specially designed for temperature measurement model of internal combustion engines, electric motors, speed controllers, batteries, chargers, etc. from -40 ° C to 380 ° C. When measuring simply point the thermometer at the surface of an object in a place whose temperature you want to know, and you press the minus the temperature on the large backlit LCD display!
The infrared sensor is mounted in an aluminum extension with polished dish for precision aim at the target point while sensor safely approach a period sufficient for reliable measurements even for objects with a high temperature without worrying about melting the plastic cabinet.
The temperature can be measured in four ways:
The thermometer has an adjustable emissivity allowing to accurately measure the temperature of objects from different materials and with different colors. Emissivity material (designated by the Greek letter epsilon?) Indicates the ability of the surface to radiate energy. It is the ratio between the energy radiated from a given material and absolutely black body of the same temperature. Different types of materials having various values \u200b\u200bof emissivity (emissivity ia. Dependent on the color of the surface, the frequency of radiation and many other factors)
Note. 1: If you care only about the relative comparison of temperatures (investigating whether the target object's temperature rises or falls), plays the exact value of the emissivity setting role. The latter is critically important if you need to compare the temperature of objects of the same material, but in a different color (eg. White versus black). If you care about the precise comparison, it is appropriate to advance infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of such objects in a situation where you know reliably that their actual temperature matches. The ratio of measured temperatures will then serve as a conversion factor in further measurements. If you can not measure the temperature of a target object precise contact thermometer, can the relationship between the temperature measured by infrared thermometer (emissivity set at 1.00) and the temperature measured using a contact thermometer used as experimentally determined emissivity value for a given subject.
. Note 2: The emissivity of anodized aluminum (typical material cylinder head) strongly depends on its color: silver anodized base has an emissivity of relatively low (<0.80), the darker the color anodized, the emissivity is greater. Emissivity for black anodized will be about 0.95.
To power the thermometer will need two AAA (AAA) batteries (not supplied with thermometer). The thermometer will automatically switch to standby mode with a small collection after 1 minute of inactivity.
Package includes: infrared thermometer instructions.
