Characteristics

A 1:47 scale, 830mm long, Mantua Model Royal Caroline non-floating model kit was built at Bedford Shipyard in 1749 as a yacht for the English Royal Family. She served for many years and during that time she sailed around the world. Finished in 1820. This beautiful ship had a slender line for racing as well as a rich set of decorations all around the hull. The kit includes wooden parts, metal casting decorations, English instructions and detailed building plans. Despite the large amount of decorations, Royal Caroline does not seem overloaded, and thanks to the pleasant scale of 1:47, the amount of detail can be worked out perfectly. A true jewel that should not be missing in any collector's collection.

We also recommend the purchase of nylon clamps and indispensable modeling pins. We recommend a modeling mat for editing, precise cutting, gluing parts and also as table protection.
