The Bismarck is probably the most famous battleship of the German Navy. The kit contains laser-cut wooden parts, from which the base of the hull and superstructures is made. The Bismarck is probably the most famous battleship of the German Navy. At the time of its commissioning in 1940, it was considered the largest and most powerful warship in the world. Together with her sister ship Tirpitz, she created the so-called Bismarck Avenue. Its captain was Ernst Lindemann. In May 1941 he embarked on his first and last voyage to the Atlantic, was severely damaged by Swordfish torpedo bombers from the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal and then sunk on May 27 by the battleships HMS Rodney, HMS King George V and other vessels. Amati has many years of experience with the Bismarck model, in this version we managed to significantly improve the design with even more detailed details. Thanks to the detachable decks and a spacious hull, the model can also be prepared for water as a functional RC model.
