The kit of the non-floating historical model of the sailing ship MAMOLI Sao Miguel from 1519 is on a scale of 1:54. Probably around 1519, Sao Miguel took part in a major expedition that helped Fernando Cortez to conquer Mexico. The package includes wooden parts, moldings and a number of fittings, rigging, plans, etc.
The documents found in the historical archives of the Maritime Museum in Barcelona have allowed the reconstruction of the plans of the ship, which occupies an important position among medieval ships. Probably around 1519, Sao Miguel took part in a major expedition that helped Fernando Cortez to conquer Mexico. The exterior gallery, which also has a balcony and a dwelling under a small fourth deck, and deck superstructures with sunshades, shows that these ships were hired for the carriage of high-class passengers.
Mamoli kits for static shipbuilding have been very popular for many years. There is a large selection of different models and classic design elements at an attractive price. Today, all kits are manufactured using modern laser technology, which ensures high precision production of individual components. The standard is a double hull stitching. Many building parts are made of metal castings or wood, building instructions and detailed building plans are available. The components of the stand are complemented by the complete equipment of the set.
