Static model kit of the historic ship AMATI Robert E. Lee 1870 1: 150 kit. The first highways in America were the Great Rivers, which enabled the growth of trade and traffic. The ship Robert E. Lee was a river steamer. Wooden parts are laser cut, brass etched parts, fittings, accessories are included.
With the advent of steam engines and the brilliant ideas of Fulton and Livingston, the first boat builders, transportation on the rivers greatly intensified. The search for speed inspired amazing competitions. One of the most famous races is located between the Načeza and Robert E. Lee, which took place in 1870 on the route of New Orleans and Saint Louis. After 750 kilometers of water, Robert E. Lee won, arriving in Saint Louis after 3 days, 18 hours and 14 minutes.
The set includes plans and a construction manual. The ship stand shown is not included in the delivery of the set.
Scale 1: 150, length 600 mm, width 280 mm.
