COREL Amphion 1778 1:40 kit

Kit of the non-floating model COREL Amphion in scale 1:40 from 1778. The builder of the ship was Frederik Chapman, for King Gustav III of Sweden. designed and built at the Djurgarden shipyard in Stockholm. The package includes wooden parts, moldings and a number of fittings, rigging, tarpaulins, plans, etc.

Construction began in 1778 and was launched in 1850. The model shows Amphion as it looked in 1790. Special attention was paid to the design of the gilded ornament. Almost all wooden parts are carved. Seven construction plans with numerous perspective drawings and a detailed construction manual.
