The package contains an assembled RC model of the Losi 22S Dragster 1:10 69 Camaro with a finished, painted model of the body from 1969 and installed components: Spektrum AC motor Firma 6500rot/V, Spektrum Smart AC regulator Firma 100A 2-3S, servo S606, Spektrum receiver SR315 DSMR/SLT 3CH. The package includes a Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz transmitter, instructions in Czech, EN, DE, FR, IT manual.
The set does not include a drive battery and charger, the manufacturer recommends a 2-3 cell LiPol battery 5000mAh and a compatible charger.
Losi 22S Dragster 1:10 69 Camaro RTR RC speed car model for straight track racing, with innovative design and quality workmanship. The model is a replica of racing dragsters with a beautifully crafted 69 Camaro body made of lexan, 1.2mm thick. Typical features are preserved, such as a high front mask with a giant radiator, a rear pressure wing, mock-up elements with lights, direction indicators, door handles, rear support wheels, etc.
As soon as you step on the throttle, the Losi 22S Dragster surges forward, leaving its rivals behind. In a few moments it will reach a speed of more than 80km/h and you will experience a great feeling of victory.
The Firma 6500Kv brushless motor features a 4-pole 8-magnet rotor, CNC machined aluminum housing, high-purity insulated copper windings, 3.175mm (1/8") high-grade alloy steel output shaft, and precision bearings for high durability and smooth rotation. .4mm gold plated connectors installed.
The model is controlled using a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter, which offers quality range, response and immunity to interference, while also allowing control by a Spektrum DSMR® transmitter with Smart connectivity. Its SLT protocol is compatible with the Spektrum SPMSLR300 (SLT Protocol Receiver) and older Tactic™ receivers.
The model has an SR315 dual-protocol receiver installed, which not only supports the SLT 2.4GHz transmitter technology, but is also compatible with the Spektrum DSMR® protocol. You can therefore use it in higher-end transmitters such as the DX5 Pro, DX5 Rugged and DX5C.
The licensed Mickey Thompson rear tires will give the model great grip on the road and ensure maximum grip, thanks to which the car can quickly accelerate on the track and win.
Officially licensed Mickey Thompson front tires will guide the Losi 22S Dragster car model exactly in a straight line and at the same time have very low aerodynamic resistance.
The new chassis of the Losi 22S Dragster has redesigned component placement for a lower center of gravity and even balance. This ensures a stable and controlled ride even during sharp acceleration. It is designed with electronics protection, side impact guards and a clean cable management system.
Optimum weight distribution on the chassis of the model plays a very important role in drag racing. The model is equipped with spaces to place weights, which gives you the ability to fine-tune your ride.
Thanks to the elastic straps, changing the battery will be quick and easy. You won't have to worry about velcro anymore. Simply insert the battery, pull the strap and hook.
Coil-Over Spring shock absorbers help keep the car incredibly stable even at high speed, so you can maintain complete steering control even on the toughest brake bands. Internal limiters help eliminate body roll and keep the car on track
Thanks to the hole in the top cap of the shock absorber, the amount of oil in the shock absorber can be regulated and thus the characteristics of the shock absorber can be precisely tuned for their optimal function.
For precise adjustment and axle tuning options, adjustable turnbuckles with ball pins are fitted as standard in the model.
The Losi 22S Dragster has a robust all-metal transmission installed, which can easily cope with the high demands of operation. The powerful Spektrum Firma 6500kv engine with the optimal transmission ratio of the gearbox can give the model brutal acceleration in an instant and reach maximum speed in no time.
The sealed differential is filled with 500,000kcSt silicone oil as standard, allowing you to use as much power as you need.
While the competition only offers pre-set positions, Losi has a tensioner available that precisely adjusts the angle of the support wheels (wheelie bar).
The realistic model of the 69 Camaro features the signature massive pressed chrome grille and large front hood. You can have this model in red or blue.
Since the model is based on the Team Losi Racing® 22 series cars, many TLR® parts are available in tuning, which can take the performance of the 22S to an even higher level! Part upgrades available are 22 GEN II shocks, 22 friction clutch (HDS), 22 GEN II ball differentials, 22 ball stud adjustable tensioners and much more! You also have the option of using aluminum optional parts for the 22S.
To put the model into operation, you need to purchase 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, a drive battery and an adequate charger for the drive battery.
The model can be operated on a 2- to 3-cell LiPo battery. The accumulator should be fitted with an EC5 or IC5 connector. For normal driving, we recommend a 2-cell LiPo battery (7.4 V).

Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.
NiMH batteries do not require precise handling and are therefore suitable if the RC model car is operated by children (NiMH batteries are not destroyed by complete discharge). However, NiMH batteries do not have such performance.
Spektrum Smart chargers can charge both Smart and Smart G2 batteries as well as conventional batteries. Previously sold Smart chargers, once updated, also support Smart G2.
To connect the battery to the chargers mentioned above, you need a reduction for charging IC5/IC3.
For normal operation of Losi RC cars, you need screw glue, good quality tire glue, silicone oil for shock absorbers and a set of screwdrivers. The thread or head of the screw is dripped with screw glue, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving prevent the screw joint from loosening. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an adequate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it might be impossible to loosen a screw stuck like this!
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the dampers of the model. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN surface are easily recognized by their golden-green color.
