TRX-4 chassis

The chassis is built of two steel profiles that provide sufficient chassis rigidity. The front-mounted engine ensures sufficient front wheel load, so the model can handle the ride even on steep slopes. The battery is located in the chassis axis, so the model is precisely balanced and does not tilt while driving.

Axles

The TRX-4 uses axle transmissions with axle transmission. The axle gear increases ground clearance, reduces transmission stress, propeller shafts, and torsion force further - the model tilts less.

Transmission

The TRX-4 is equipped with a one-speed gearbox providing stunning power along with high torque. The gear corresponds to the second speed of the TRX-4 with a two-speed gearbox. The compact gearbox includes a double friction clutch that adds extra protection to the drive train.

Management

The front wheels can be turned at an angle of 45 ° to either side, with the Traxxas 2075X fast digital servo with metal gears (no servo-saver).

Motor and regulator

The heart of the Traxxas TRX-4 is the Titan 21T 550 DC motor and XL-5 HV electronic controller. The engine and the controller are primarily designed to power a 3-cell LiPo battery with a capacity of at least 4000 mAh. The model can also be powered by 7-cell NiMH batteries.

The Traxxas XL-5 HV controller supports 5 driving modes:

1. Sport : Forward, Brake and Reverse
2. Race : Forward and brake. Reverse is not available
3. Training : Forward driving limited to 50% power, brake and reverse limited to 50%. This mode is suitable for children
4. Trail : Forward, Brake, Reverse. Control near neutral is very fine
5. Crawl : Forward, Neutral and Straight Reverse.

2.4GHz TQ RC kit

The control is provided by a simple two-channel RC set TRAXXAS TQ 2.4 GHz. The RC kit works in the 2.4 GHz band, so you don't have to worry about choosing a free channel and worrying about interference from other transmitters. Driving will always be reliable. The antenna is integrated in the transmitter - there is no danger of it breaking in the fall or impact of the transmitter. The RC kit includes a trim control channel, further allows you to adjust the throttle channel and control channel. Different error and information states are indicated by a two-color LED on the transmitter. Programming and pairing with the receiver is done with a single button. You need only 4 AA alkaline batteries or 4 AA NiMH batteries to power the transmitter.
