Build a model HMS Belfast was a light cruiser of World War II of the British Royal Navy. He entered service on August 5, 1939. At the end of November of the same year, he was expelled from service for three years due to damage to a German mine. Since 1942, it has covered Arctic convoys. On December 26, 1943, together with the cruisers HMS Norfolk and HMS Sheffield, they repulsed the attacks of the German battleship Scharnhorst, which was trying to penetrate the Allied convoy. Scharnhorst's detention contributed to his subsequent imprisonment and subsequent sinking. HMS Belfast also took part in the attack on the German battleship Tirpitz. From June 1944 it underwent a major reconstruction. He entered Sydney Harbor in August 1945 when the war in the Pacific ended.
