The 37-mm Bofors anti-tank cannon was developed in Sweden in the early 1930s and its license version served in a number of European armies at the beginning of the Second World War. The Polish version of Bofors vz.36 drawn by horses was the main weapon of the Polish army in defense against German and Soviet tanks in September and October 1939."
