Fuel NITROLUX ENERGY3 OFF ROAD PRO 30%.
After developing blends that meet European regulations on explosives precursors and limiting the use of a maximum of 16% nitromethane by weight in blends supplied to end customers without a license, the Nitrolux engineering team and drivers worked to develop 25% and 30% off-road blends. Using the same synthetic oils that work so well in the 16% blends, the improvements are substantial.
This fuel has already been used in some competitions by some of the team's pilots and has demonstrated excellent performance on very demanding circuits and in very difficult conditions.
Main features:
- Higher performance in all ranges.
- Lower operating temperature.
- Easy carburetion.
- No loss of performance at high external temperatures.
- Protection of all engine components using premium oils.
- Lower consumption.
Note: Switching from Energy2 to Energy3 may require changing the carburetor adjustment.
Packaging: 5 liter canister.

Sale and registration of model fuels containing nitromethane
One of the explosives precursors subject to restrictions under Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 and Act No. 225/2022 Coll. on explosives precursors and amending related acts is nitromethane ; as a result, from 1 February 2021, only model fuels containing up to 16% nitromethane by weight may be sold to consumers. According to Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1148, fuels with a higher nitromethane content may only be sold to professional users, which are natural or legal persons or a public body or a group of such persons or bodies who have a demonstrable need for a restricted explosives precursor for purposes related to their trade, business or profession. Their identity must be verified and the sale recorded upon sale. Records must be kept for at least 5 years and made available for inspection to the competent authorities (Czech Republic) upon request.
Since Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 of the European Parliament and of the Council lists nitromethane as one of the substances for which, for concentrations in the range of 16-100% by weight, it is permissible to make it available to the public on the basis of a permit pursuant to Article 5(3) of this Regulation, we will strive, in cooperation with the Association of Modellers of the Czech Republic, to ensure that this is enabled by the relevant government regulation or decree.

I have a fuel bottle at home containing 25% nitromethane – what should I do?
Previously purchased products containing more than 16% nitromethane by weight, purchased over the counter or under a permit issued before 1 February 2021, may be used and stored by their holders until 2 February 2022 (or until the original permit expires, whichever comes first). After that, this will only be possible under a currently valid permit issued after 1 February 2021.
