More info

The CGY755 is a state-of-the-art programmable flybarless control unit for 250-800 helicopters with an integrated governor. State-of-the-art MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical system) sensors, extremely high data processing speed and advanced PID control algorithm place it at the forefront of all gyroscopic systems in terms of dimensions, weight and performance.

FUNCTION

  • Triaxial gyro and governor in one box.
  • High speed and extremely low transport delay of the control loop ensure higher stability.
  • Small size and low weight.
  • Easy setting and fine-tuning of gyro and governor settings and using the GPB-1 programmer (with cable connection to CGY755 or wirelessly using the teacher-student system with GPB-1 connected to a compatible Futaba transmitter) or directly in the menu of a compatible Futaba transmitter (T16IZ, T32MZ) .
  • The settings are divided into Basic and Expert menus. The basic settings (accessible even for less experienced users) are used for initial settings and expert settings for advanced settings with a number of tunable parameters for very experienced pilots.
  • Updatable firmware.
  • Compatible with S.BUS2.

GYRO / FLYBARLES CONTROL UNIT

  • It uses an advanced adaptive PID control system.
  • Simultaneous control of 3 axes (tilting, tilting, sideways).
  • 2 optional setting profiles for 3D flying and F3C classic flying / mock-ups
  • Side (balancing rotor):
    • Able to detect angular velocity up to ± 1000 ° / s
    • Compatible with 1520 µs analog (70 Hz), 1520 µs digital (280 Hz) and 760 µs digital (560 Hz) servos for balancing rotors.
    • The choice of direct link allows the CGY755 to take other control functions into account during operation. This leads to more accurate corrections and more accurate operation / li>
    • The state-of-the-art control algorithm ensures constant pirouette speed, precise and smooth side control in all flight modes.
  • Cloning, tilting:
    • Developed especially for flybarless helicopters.
    • Supports plate types cycles H3-120, H3-140, H3-90, H4-00 and H4-45.

GOVERNOR

  • It uses an advanced adaptive PID control system.
  • High speed and extremely low traffic delays ensure more consistent and accurate operation.
  • It allows to maintain a constant speed of the supporting rotor in the range of 700 to 4000 rpm.
  • Compatible with 1520 µs analog (70 Hz) and 1520 µs digital (280 Hz) throttle control servos.
  • The choice of direct link allows the CGY755 to take other control functions into account during operation. This leads to precise speed control of the carrier rotor.
  • Optional governor or speed limiter mode.
  • It supports gear ratios from 1.00 to 50.00.
  • The state-of-the-art control algorithm ensures more consistent speed control.
  • The speed sensor is compatible with the GV-1 governor. The CGY755 also supports a tuning speed sensor for mounting in the rear motor cover and a phase sensor for AC motors.

other functions

  • Memory for maximum speed value.
  • Timer for measuring the total operating time of the engine.

COMPATIBLE RECEIVERS

The CGY755 can operate with S.BUS / S.BUS2 serial output receivers.

Compatible servos

Gyro can work with analog and digital servos (for 4.8 V and HV power supply up to 8.4 V). The selection of the servo type is done programmatically (for digital servos the output signal has a repetition frequency of 285 Hz, for analogue 70 Hz).

Updatable firmware

If a new version is available, the CGY755 firmware can be updated via the Futaba CIU-3 or CIU-2 USB interface. / p>

The gyro set includes: CGY755 control unit, magnetic speed sensor with magnets and holder, connecting cables, instructions.
