Traxxas Dual DC Controller for 1:10 E-Revo, E-Maxx and so on. Powering 6 to 14 cells NiMH or 4 cells LiPol. The modern design is largely water-resistant.

The great advantage of the Traxxas controllers is their simple programming, which is exactly the same for all Traxxas controllers. Regulators can be calibrated, drive mode set, and NiMH or LiPol set on the latest versions. The programming process is shown by a two-color LED and a beep (if a motor is connected).

Controller calibration

It is about setting the neutral position and the extreme position of the gas. Calibration must be performed when replacing the transmitter or suspecting the controller to behave incorrectly.

Driving mode
  • Sport mode: full power forward and backward, brake
  • Race mode: full power forward and brake, reverse is not available to meet the rules of some races.
  • Training mode: 50% forward, 50% reverse, 100% brake. This mode is suitable for first familiarization with driving characteristics of the model or for children. The model reaches about a third of its maximum speed.
Battery Type (only available with LVD controllers)
  • NiMH batteries: the power of the controller is limited only by the power that the batteries can deliver. In this mode, it is not recommended to use LiPol batteries because they would be unduly disrupted to destroy them.
  • LiPol batteries: LiPol batteries are a modern source of electrical power that excels in high specific weight-related capacity. For LiPol batteries, make sure that the cell does not drop below 3.0V. The controller will reduce the controller power to 50% when the voltage drops to about 3.3V / cell. When the voltage drops to 3.0 V / cell, the motor is completely disconnected.
