Transit is the label for a number of light commercial vehicles designed for the European market that have been manufactured by Ford Germany and Ford UK since 1953. The front-mounted engine made it possible for the loading area of \u200b\u200bthe workpiece to be laid down and thus easier to load the goods. The first real Transit, however, was the one produced in 1965 by the German and British Ford together, and it was at the express request of Henry Ford himself; thanks to this collaboration, not only did the well-known MK I model, but also what Ford Europe is today. In 1978, the original car was replaced by the MK II variant, which in 1984 had a new front bumper and also the engine - a 2.5-liter Diesel York with 68 horses. These famous cars have achieved commercial success not only in Europe. Some non-European markets are still being produced today.
