The Porsche 956 was built by the famous German sports car manufacturer in 1982 to take part in the world class sports prototype championship in the new C-Group. To meet the new championship regulations, Porsche introduced several technical innovations on the new model, such as new aerodynamics and an aluminum shell chassis. As a power unit was given a reliable turbocharged six-cylinder 2650 cm3, which was able to deliver 635 hp. The Porsche 956 has become a successful sports car that has won several sports prototype championships, and even four years of Le Mans, the oldest endurance sports car race in the world.
