Original Information:
Land Rover is certainly one of the most famous symbols of British automobile production and represents a true milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was created immediately after the war, its first prototypes dropped off the production line in 1947. It was characterized by a four-wheel drive traction system and a sturdy and reliable construction that made it possible to cope with even the most challenging routes. The aluminum body guarantees low weight and at the same time greater rust resistance and thus longer service life. When the third series was launched in 1971, more than 1 million Land Rovers were driven around the world. The new version was available in two variants: "standard" and "extended wheelbase". For its exceptional versatility, the Land Rover was used both as a civilian and military vehicle. Of particular interest were versions with fire extinguishing equipment designed specifically for fire brigades.
