Transformer transformer 125W
As the name of the product implies, the transformer functions as a soldering iron, the mains winding is supplied with mains voltage and the secondary winding is connected by a solder loop - ie. short-circuit transformer. When the trigger is closed, the transformer is switched on, which results in immediate heating of the solder loop. A light bulb is also used as a solder switch indicator, which also serves to illuminate the solder joint.
In particular, the transformers are characterized by a rapid rise in temperature, as well as rapid cooling, which is not exactly the domain of the micro solders. They are particularly suitable for field service. However, their disadvantage is their weight and lifetime of the spikes. Classic copper loops tend to oxidize and erode - dissolve in tin, so it is ideal to use them. the eternal tip , which is made of two materials and has a 150 times longer life than the commonly used copper loop.
Suitable for soldering of conventional DIL components, for soldering of small parts and for soldering of television, radio and other telecommunication connections.
