Queen Mary 2 is one of the largest and most powerful ships of the present. The 345-meter long and 41-meter-wide ship is capable of accommodating 2600 passengers and 1200 crew members. It was made in Saint Nazaire, France, on the Atlantic coast.
Carnival Corp. paid $ eight hundred million for the ship. Every day aboard 4,000 workers and technicians of various professions worked. Material and components came from all over the world, even from the Czech Republic. The hull module consists of three hundred thousand parts, which together combine a thousand five hundred kilometers of welds. The four dieselectric motors allow an average cruising speed of 50 km / h. Queen Mary 2, flying under the British flag, is designed for sailing in the North Atlantic and, in its name, reports to the famous ocean-going ships such as Queen Mary and Queen Elisabeth in the 20th century.

The model is built in a scale of 1: 200 and is delivered completely assembled. Laminate hull is already factory fitted with SPEED DC motors and transverse drives. For easy access to electronics, the model comes with a detachable superstructure made from ABS.
