HMS Hood was an Admiral battleship cruiser serving at the Royal Navy. In total, four ships of this class (Anson, Hood, Howe, and Rodney) had to be built, but at the time of the project, there was a battle at Jutland where three British battle cruisers (HMS Indefatigable, HMS Queen Mary and HMS Invincible ). After the Battle, the British Battlecruiser Concept was re-evaluated, and the Admiral class was the only Hood to complete after extensive editing. He became the last-ever British battleship cruiser. The names of the sister ships were assigned after the war by the new Nelson (HMS Rodney) and King George V (HMS Anson and HMS Howe).
The model is built in a scale of 1: 150 and is delivered completely assembled. Laminate hull is already factory fitted with four SPEED DC motors. For easy access to electronics, the model comes with a detachable superstructure made from ABS.
Properties:
To control the model requires min. 6-channel RC set, the model can be retrofitted with other mock-up features.
