The RC model of the K-Rat II hotliner with a span of 2 m in the PNP version is equipped with an AC powerful motor, a propeller with a cone and four servos. Just add the controller, battery and RC kit. Is it blowing too much? Never mind, K-Rat II will be in its element. You can fly acrobatics, fast flights and enjoy great fun with it.
ROBBE K-RAT II meets the latest requirements in terms of construction and aerodynamics of the airframe. Less experienced and ambitious pilots get a versatile model that they can use in almost any weather. For normal flying, a 3S LiPol battery is enough, for fast flying, a 4S LiPol battery. The fuselage is laminated dyed in molds, the wing and tail surfaces of balsa wood, covered with Oracover foil. The wing is connected by an 8mm carbon rod, the elevator is floating. The wing has no flaps or brake shields. The empty weight of the model is only 980g, flight approx. 1500g.
You do not have to solve the problem of the drive, the manufacturer has installed a Robbe 3522-1000 AC motor with an 11/8 propeller in the model. All you have to do is add a suitable regulator. The recommended is the 3S-4S 80A AC aircraft.
The choice of battery is up to you, 3S is recommended for comfortable flying, for powerful fast flying LiPol 4S 2600 mAh battery.
