The Raytronic C11 60W was designed to offer an intelligent, easy-to-use pocket charger. RAYTRONIC C11 allows charging and discharging common types of cells (NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-HV, Li-Fe, Pb), in addition, it is equipped with a built-in six-channel balancer, which ensures very safe and comfortable charging of lithium batteries.
It differs from conventional 50-60W chargers by really intelligent software, which enables functions hitherto common in "machines" of much higher price categories:
- program for new types of "high-voltage" lithium LiHV batteries with a final voltage for charging up to 4.35 V (in the current firmware V1.13 - update of older ones, see the "Download" section)
- setting of the end voltage for charging and discharging for lithium batteries (enables more gentle charging, which pilots like, or, conversely, brutal overcharging, which is enjoyed by "toy cars")
- selection of charging mode with balancer or without balancer (in current firmware V1.13 - update of older ones see section "Download")
- measurement of total voltage and voltage of individual cells (for lithium batteries) even outside charging / discharging
- measurement of internal resistance of the whole set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- micro USB port for communication with PC and firmware update
- micro USB port also allows the connection of a wi-fi module, which allows remote control of the charger from your tablet or smartphone (with iOS and Android operating systems)
Of course, there is also a socket for a temperature sensor.
- Input supply voltage 11 - 18 V DC
- For charging and discharging 1 - 15 NiCd / NiMH cells, 1 - 6 Li-ion / Li-poly / Li-Fe / Li-HV cells or 2- 20 V lead-acid batteries
- Adjustable charging current (0.1 A - 6.0 A)
- Adjustable discharge current (0.1 A - 2.0 A)
- Max. power for charging 60 W, for discharging 5 W
- Automatic charging and discharging mode for NiCd, NiMH with adjustable current limit
- Termination of charging using delta-peak automation for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Lithium and Pb batteries are charged using the "constant current / constant voltage" method
- Adjustable delta-peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Adjustable end voltage for charging and discharging for lithium batteries
- Repeated cyclic operation of charging / discharging or discharging / charging for NiCd and NiMH batteries, up to 5 cycles
- Three charging modes for lithium batteries - fast charging, balancing charging and storage charging / discharging
- Selecting the charging mode with or without balancer (in the current firmware V1.1 3 - update of older ones see section "Download")
- Stop charging when the set time, supplied charge or limit temperature is exceeded.
- Memory for 10 charging / discharging programs.
- Measurement of the total voltage of the set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- Measurement of the total internal resistance of the set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- Socket for temperature sensor
- micro USB port for communication with a PC, updating the charger firmware and connecting an external wi-fi module for remote control of the charger from a smartphone or tablet
- Two-line backlit LCD display with simple and clear menu and display of parameters during charging / discharging
- A number of warning text messages contribute to safe operation - incorrect input voltage, incorrect connection, unsuitable battery or its condition, incorrect polarity at the output
- Reverse polarity and short circuit protection at the output.
- Compact aluminum cabinet, small dimensions
- Built-in fan for forced cooling
When working with lithium batteries, you have the option of monitoring the voltage on individual cells during the entire charging or discharging process, and the built-in balancer balances the voltage on the individual cells. The charger is equipped with sockets for JST-XH service connectors, you can connect sets of other systems using adapters that are sold separately (the adapter for the JST-EH system, such as our RAY G3 or FOXY G2 batteries, is part of the charger set).
You can purchase a temperature sensor to measure the temperature of rechargeable / discharged batteries.
Note: The charger uses a final voltage of 2.40 V / cell when charging lead-acid batteries - for this reason it is suitable for charging classic lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel batteries with a reversible valve. It is not suitable for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged to more than 2.30 V / cell. / p>
The charger set includes: RAYTRONIC C11 charger, 12 V power cable with crocodile clips, adapter for service connectors of lithium sets (2-6s) of the JST-EH system, instructions.
