Original information:
This Soviet motor-powered aircraft is likely to have been produced in much larger quantities than any other aircraft ever since World War II. The first Antonov AN-2 flew to the sky in 1947 and its production was terminated in 1978. The NATO-coded "Colt" carries up to 14 passengers. There are also different versions of this biplane - seaplane, agricultural variant and winter version of the skis. Only in the Soviet Union there were more than 5000 AN-2 and a few more thousands in China and Poland.
