Original information:
In Dallas, the P-51D version of the P-51D was P-51K. Instead of the Hamilton Standard propeller, it was equipped with a propeller from Aeroproducts, it also had a larger and otherwise shaped cockpit cover and a few other minor differences. The versions of these machines designed for photographic research were marked F-6D and F-6K respectively. The RAF used the D model Mustang IV and Mustang IVA for model K.
